Players by Panels Chart
This chart lists all 200 players in the 1962 Post cereal football set by the cereal box panels on which they appear. For each cereal product, the abbreviation, number of the first player on that particular panel and sequence of that panel within the product group are shown under the heading "Cereal Box Panel — First Card on Panel — Panel Sequence." For instance, #1 Dan Currie's line reads "PT18 1 1 of 2," "RK10 173 6 of 6." This would mean that Currie's card appears on a Post Toasties 18 oz. box in which his card number 1 is first on the panel and this panel is one of two PT18 boxes and that he also is featured a 10 oz. Rice Krinkles box which begins with card number 173 and is the sixth of six RK10 panels. Some players have as many as six cereal products on which their cards are printed.
